The Health & Wellness Consult is a comprehensive assessment of your current state of health and wellness.
Overview
Our health coach, in collaboration with one of our physical therapists, will assess the five key areas of your health & wellness: Cardio Pulmonary Training, Nutrition, Mental/Emotional Wellbeing, Strength Training and Recovery Work (stretching, pliability training, sleep, etc).
Plan of Action
At the end of the consult we will give you a summary that outlines your current baseline, what ailments you need to address and what areas we suggest you address, and put you in the drivers seat re deciding what steps you are willing/able to take towards an even healthier and fit life.

Assessment:
Cardio Pulmonary Training
We’ll take a look at what you’re currently doing re your heart and lung health. Are you aware of heart rate training zones? If so, do you know how much time to spend in each zone to maximize the benefits of training? Are you planning on running a race? Walk a 5k?
Nutrition
#1 factor without a question is what we put in our body. We’ll take a look at what you’ve been doing, but more importantly put a plan in place that is easy to follow, effective, and tastes great. Healthy food can and should taste delicious!!!
Mental/Emotional Wellbeing
There’s no question that our emotional/mental wellbeing is connected to our physical wellbeing and vice versa. We’ll take a look at what you’re currently doing and make appropriate recommendations to help you live a happy, stable, and fulfilled life.
Strength Training
Strengthening our body is very important. It reduces our risk for injury, helps us complete the activities we love more efficiently, and a key component of living life well. Do you know how to strength train with proper form? How frequently do you train? At what intensity do you train? We’ll take a good look at these and other areas in relation to strength.
Recovery Work
Recovery work helps keep our bodies strong, flexible, pliability, and able to perform at it’s highest level. Do you know how to stretch properly? Have you ever foam rolled before? Have you heard the term myofascial and wonder what the heck is that? We’ll simplify recovery work and help you integrate this important aspect of health and wellness into your life.
