Physical Therapist

Qualifications: Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Born: Providence, RI
Now Lives: Newport, RI

Professional background leading to a career in health and wellness:

I have always had a passion for health and wellness and have found the benefits of living an active lifestyle. This spurred my interest in physical therapy so I could help others experience the benefits as well.  I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology in 2018. In my senior year, I learned about sports rehab during a full-time internship with Providence College Sports Medicine. In graduate school, my clinical rotations gave me experience with orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, low back pain, older adults and geriatrics, and inpatient acute care. I just graduated from the University of Rhode Island Physical Therapy Program in 2021 and I am very excited for my career ahead of me!

What reasons you are passionate about helping others:

I enjoy getting to know clients, learning from them and with them, and being involved in the community they are a part of. I love that this profession allows me to help empower people to accomplish their goals and live their lives to the fullest.

What do you enjoy in your free time:

Any activity outside, especially on the water! Racing or leisurely sailing, skiing, walking and running. Also baking, traveling, catching up with friends, and good food!
